Love is in the air.............

well not quite yet, but with February looming I thought I would make a quick card using the fabulous Graphic 45 Place in Time paper February Cut Aparts (love that paper!). So, this is a bit of a photo heavy post.............
Black card, red card.............base is an 8x8 cream card.
cut and stick black card to base card
cut slightly smaller red card and adhere to black card
Cut a piece of patterned card (reverse of February cut aparts) and mat to a black card, stick to base
Cut smaller pattern card and mat to a black base, stick to base card
Use mounting pads for this to give height to the card
Cut lady from cut aparts sheet and mat with black card
use tape on top half and mounting pads on the bottom so it sits flat to the card
like so
cut the floral border from the cut aparts sheet
use tape and adhere to card to cover bottom of the last layer
add a ribbon bow
use large pearls and adhere 3 to top corner of middle layer
cut one of the 'stamps' from the sheet and curl slightly, adhere just behind the lady but on top of the flower border, like so
cut a piece of border from the sheet
adhere to left edge of first layer, tuck under the flower border to neaten
Happy Valentine's xx
