Sue Allan has been busy with Umbels again.............that sweet and useful little stamp from the wonderful Memory Box stamp company. This pretty pink card reminds me of babies - girl babies - oh, did I not tell you yet??? Well you know I am going to be a Nanna/Grandma (not decided which yet lol) in June, I now know its going to be a girl!! With four sons this is going to be something completely new!!
Anyhow, back to the card.............Sue has stamped Umbels in Detail White embossing powder on the soft pink card. She has then used a Tim Holtz On The Edge Die Scallops to make the holes for the ribbon to be threaded through and that quirky wonky edge. Layered on a piece of fabric she then used the McGill Bird Punch to add the little birdies. Just so pretty. This is a small tag made using the Umbels in the white embossing again, and the edge die again, oh and the birdie again...................
and Sue's final Umbel piece................a beautiful plaque. She has pressed the stamp into Terra, coloured it with Distress Inks and then sealed it with Glossy Accents. The frame of the plaque has been made using rolled up newspaper with oddments of ribbon wrapped around it.
Thanks Sue.................looking forward to seeing what you do with your next challenge stamps..............and if you love Sue's work then keep your eyes peeled in Craft Stamper, she does a piece every issue for The Stamp Attic..................
