Layers and Lace

Wednesday saw yet another fantastic workshop day with Hels...........Layers and Lace was the name of the game and the aim was to make a four page mountboard book using Tim's On The Edge Dies, Distress Inks, lots and lots of stamps but most important the Lace.......oh and some of those flowers too.........
This is Helen's pages in progress. The colours she chose just popped off the pages...............
and this is the finished look..........can you see the lace stamps used to edge the page?
Kay's colours were just divine, soft purples and straw created this lovely vintage look.......spot that lace again!
This is the back page.........
next page in.................those flowers are music score and book papers medium gelled to grunge paper.......
next page................the layers with those On The Edge Dies are just amazing Kay.......and again I love the colours.
Finished piece..............a combination of Scattered Straw, Chipped Sapphire and Dusty Concord......
the proud Kay...............
Sally chose stronger colours and the contrast is just amazing.........
again Jenny chose strong colours and clever blending work softens the effects..................
and Sue...............so pretty Sue, and again the lace.............

If you are interested in doing a Hels Sheridan workshop then we still have some left running for this time around..............On Saturday 16th Oct we are doing Hang It, Tag It...........
Two pieces of work using Texture Fades, Inks, Idea-ology and Tim Holtz Dies..............or how about a Grunge Paper masterclass............on Oct 26th we have a class using grunge paper in all sorts of guises.........
To book either class just go online and press the button.........or call me on 01235 760821.
