Little perfection..........

A short while ago I introduced to you Sue Allan, my newest Design Team member and today I am introducing you to her first challenge, new from Cresendoh, Little Miss Mason Jars

This clear set of stamps consists of a jar and various shapes of 'labels'. The jar has an open middle, its not solid, so the sides are easily moldable on your acrylic block. So lets see what Sue got up to on her first day with this set..................
How gorgeous is this............as you can see, Sue has stretched the jar out of line to give this wonderful  'old jar' style. She has used acetate here and trapped some 'notions' inside. The background colours are created using Eco Friendly paints and the stitching 'notions' are from one of the other Crescendoh sets of the same name 'Notions'.
Here is a better view of that acetate jar. See the smaller jar at the top, shrink plastic.
Another piece from Sue this time creating a wearable piece. She has used one of the label stamps from the set here for this necklace.See how she has attached the pieces to the necklace? Mini safety pins!
And another piece...........I think she liked these stamps.............here she has created a Terra base for the jar. This was actually Sue's first piece, she said the jar just shouted flowers so she had to that sample out of her system and then move on............I love this simple but pretty piece.
and yes............there is more.................and this blew me away. How beautiful are these tags.........I just adore them. Sue has used the labels from the set to create 'windows' for her art, small flowers, butterflies and notions............you just have to click to enlarge this piece to really see the detail, its truly amazing............she even used blackberries to die baby wipes for those wonderful pieces to mount the butterflies on. Again those Notions stitching stamps......they just fit with everything..............
you can see more detail of these pieces on Sue's Blog and also more of her fabulous art............
Well done Sue, amazing first submission.....................

Wow Sue you have been busy, I saw these on your blog and they are gorgeous, very creative. I love how you have trapped pieces inside the jar and being a gardener I really love the flowers in the jar. Neat idea making a necklace too, very unique. Well done Sue a fantastic selection. Have a good day, Tracy Evans x
