De-stressing day...........

Yesterday saw Hels Sheridans first workshop here at The Stamp Attic and what a fab time was had by all. The ladies were learning the art of Distressing by making a book of tags of Distress Techniques - 15 of them! Here are Val, Brenda and Sue getting stuck in. Other Sue and Annette have gone walkabout for a bit I thinnk. Can you spot the box of chocolates on the table? I was busy working opposite in the shop but managed to 'steal' a couple.

I popped in and out all day long, fetching bits I needed from the store cupboards for online orders, and envelopes are kept in there too, but it was really just so I could see what was going on. Spotted these on the window sill on my way out..........
drying Glossy Accents in the sunshine............
Sue Allan, my new DT was on the workshop and brought me a gift......thanks Sue...........one of her wonderful beach huts. How lovely is this.........
I have it up in the shop if you want to come and see it. Now, I wanted a photo of Hels, her first workshop for her and me, thought it would be a nice reminder in times to come.......but she is a bit camera shy...........this is the first attempt.......
she saw me coming and managed to get the hand to the face before the shutter clicked, so I tried again.....
where did she go? she was there I promise you, I looked at the camera and pressed the button and poof she was gone...........okay then I thought, there is only one thing for it. I followed her into the kitchen, there is a bit around the corner to the left of the above photo, its got a HUGE storage unit in there for all the stuff I cannot get on the shelves................so, I ran around, surprised her, pinned her with one arm to the unit and quickly clicked the shutter with the other hand............now I warn you the result was a little scary.............very scary in fact...........you were warned..............here is Hels in CLOSE UP lol
how we laughed, and how she threatened me if I blogged it.............well never one to shy away from a challenge..............sorry Hels, love you really, and I did not put the one of you eating a huge piece of choccy cake up..............
If you want to join us for fun and laughter and some brilliant tuition then check out Hels workshop list online, next one is Layers and Lace on Tues Sept 7th................

I now need to go bed....................night!

This was a very enjoyable workshop where I picked up some new techniques all bound in a beautiful book; which is both a keepsake and a reference book.
Hels is a very inspiring teacher and her head is packed with ideas, which she is more than willing to share.

It was more than good fun and highly recommended.
Thanks to Wendy and Hels
